William Robertson
Since acquiring a Fine Arts degree, writer/musician William Robertson has created stuff on the basis of “if it ain’t working, abandon it.” Consequently, his mountain of work is more akin to a knoll. But of that quality-assured eminence he is oh-so-humbly proud. His debut comic The Glass Wall, co-created with artist Yulia Lapko and adapted from one of his novels, is a real-life genre comic centring on the dysfunctional relationships within a group of East End millennials struggling to navigate their way into some semblance of adulthood. It’s basically the embodiment of his 15-year London residency. Aside from writing, William enjoys shooting movies on his phone, vegan food and wine, and talking about himself as if he wasn’t in the room.
